Order & Shipping

What are the shipping times?+

France: 3 to 5 business days via Colissimo. Europe: 5 to 8 days. Worldwide: 7 to 14 days. You receive a tracking number by email upon shipment.

Is shipping free?+

Free shipping to France for orders above €100. Below that, €9.90 per item. Europe: €19.90/item. Rest of the world: €49.90/item.

Can I modify or cancel my order?+

Cancellation possible within 1 hour of order by contacting contact@thewrappist.com. Any modification (item, address, finish) is reviewed case by case depending on workshop preparation status — not a guaranteed right. No change is possible once cutting has started.

What if my package arrives damaged?+

Refuse the package at delivery (mandatory reservations on the carrier slip) OR contact us within 48h with photos of: sealed package, opened package, product, and carrier slip. The claim is reviewed within 5 business days. Depending on findings: replacement, partial refund, or substantiated refusal. No automatic shipment without inspection.

What's the difference between Gloss, Satin, Chameleon and Chrome?+

Gloss = deep shine, enhances curves. Satin = silky matte, discreet elegance. Chameleon = color shifts by angle, statement finish. Chrome = mirror effect, ultra-visible. Our catalog details every finish.

Are Tech Skins compatible with my exact model?+

Yes, each skin is cut for a specific model. Check the exact model (generation, size) before ordering. iPhone 16 ≠ iPhone 16 Pro, MacBook Air 13 M2 ≠ MacBook Air 13 M3.

How long does a film last?+

Outdoor (car): 5–7 years for Gloss/Satin/Carbon, 4–6 years for Chameleon, 2–3 years for mirror Chrome. These are observed durations from our own installations, not legal warranties.

Are your vinyls repositionable?+

Yes during installation, with heat and a felt squeegee. After final pressure on a clean, warm surface, the adhesive becomes permanent.

Installation & Tips

Can I install the film myself?+

For Tech Skins (iPhone/MacBook): yes, they're pre-cut and we include instructions. For vinyl on a car, we recommend an experienced installer — unless you have experience.

What tools do I need?+

For tech skins: microfiber cloth and patience. For car vinyl: felt squeegee, precision knife, heat gun, IPA for degreasing. Available in our Tools section.

How do I find a certified installer?+

We're launching the Wrappist Certified directory in 2026. Meanwhile, contact us: we redirect to partners in your area.

Payment & Security

What payment methods do you accept?+

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe, PayPal, and 3- or 4-instalment payment via Klarna (subject to eligibility).

Is my payment data secure?+

Yes. Payment goes through Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1, highest security tier). We never see your card number. The site is fully HTTPS encrypted.

Will I get an invoice?+

Yes, a compliant invoice (excl. VAT, 20% VAT, incl. VAT) is sent automatically by email after each payment, with your order number and transaction reference.

Returns & Warranty

Can I return a product?+

Yes, within 14 days of receipt for unused products in original packaging. Custom-cut vinyl by the metre is non-returnable (except for product defects).

What if the film has a defect?+

Send detailed photos of the defect to contact@thewrappist.com within 48h of receipt, BEFORE any installation, cutting, or handling. The product must be returned to the workshop for inspection (return shipping at the customer's expense, non-refundable). No replacement or refund is processed before inspection. Decision within 7 business days after we receive the return.

Do you have an installation warranty?+

The material is warranted against manufacturing defects. The installation warranty applies only to Wrappist Certified installers, for 12 months, and covers strictly installation defects (edge lifting, persistent bubbles). Excluded: high-pressure washing under 30 cm, non-recommended solvents, accidents, lack of maintenance, prolonged exposure beyond normal use. Proof of installation and maintenance required.

How do I get pro pricing?+

Create a pro account on the Become a Reseller page with your business number. Our team validates your file within 48h and you gain access to a progressive pricing grid, quoted on request based on committed volume and order frequency.

Do you offer white label?+

No. Our films ship from our workshop under our brand. We do offer co-branding for validated resellers (on a case-by-case basis).

Do you offer training?+

Yes — see the Certified Installer Program. 4 online modules + 2 in-person sessions in Caen, twice a year.
